Community 1st Credit Union is a member-owned financial cooperative.  In order to become a member, you must fit into the credit union's field of membership:

  • Employees of the United States Postal Service, nationwide.
  • Current and retired civil service employees.
  • Current and retired employees of the Federal Government
  • Active reserve and retired military.
  • All persons who live, work, worship, or attend school in the State of Washington

Once a member, always a member means you retain your membership even if you no longer meet the eligibility requirement of the credit union.

How to Join

It's simple to join.  Just provide us with the information in a membership application and return it to the Credit Union along with your opening deposit.  To be a member of the Credit Union you must open and maintain a Savings Account with a minimum balance of $5.  This is not a fee, but an initial share purchase that will earn you dividends.
